This six-day training prepares teachers to provide intensive instruction to small groups of struggling readers and writers in the intermediate, middle, and upper grades utilizing the LLI systems.

Learn about procedures and rationales for lessons that will engage students in phonics and word study, writing about reading, and comprehending to improve reading proficiency. Examine how to use responsive teaching to accelerate students’ proficiency with reading increasingly challenging texts.
